Question:

Smirnoff Vodka or Absoulute???

I like to drink vodka just by its self, a cup full of ice...thats the way i like my vodka...which vodka is good for just drinking it straight??? I like the taste of Absoulute, dont know much about Smirnoff...any suggestions???? THanx!!!

  1. Definitely  Absolute, Citron flavour. With soda water and ice or just with ice. I keep my Absolute in the freezer.

  2. ABSOULUTE i hate smirnoff it has like no flavor and its the same percent of alcohol but it tastes 10 times stronger

  5. I don't know about taste, but I do know that Absolut absolutely works.

    I got depressed one night. I drank. I cried. I vomitted. I made many apologies.

  6. I LOVE drinking vodka with ice and I can tell you that there are some GREEEEAAAT vodkas out there.  Neither of those are what I would consider sipping vodkas.

    My faves:

    Jewel of Russia

    Armadale

    ***These are a bit pricey, though.

  8. Flavoured Absolut, like the apple or cherry flavours, would probably suit you more, especially for drinking straight.

    A question: why not just do shots? A glass of vodka on the rocks is a pretty heavy drink, especially for a female.

  9. Absolut is great.  There are better vodkas out there, but Absolut is affordable, and readily available, and much better IMO than Smirnoff...

  11. No Vermouth or Olive? I guess you have every right to drink it by itself. when i run out of  vermouth i drink it by itself too

  14. Very few people can tell any decent vodka from another, especially chilled.

    Try a few of the reputable brand names (Absolut, Stoli, Smirnoff, etc.) and make a list of the ones you like. You'll like plenty of them, so just buy the ones that are on sale.
