Smith in doubt for Kolkata Test?

Will South Africa captain Graeme Smith play in the Kolkata Test against India. He’s injured a finger in training but is there any word on whether it will keep him out of the deciding Test of the series?

According to the South Africa media manager, Smith has strained a ligament on the outside of his left little finger. At last count he was heading off to have an MRI scan to confirm just what the damage is. So yes, he has to be in some doubt at this stage.
