Smog Index?

Is there some sort of online "smog index" where I can see how different U.S. cities rate?

Try EPA's Window to My Environment (http://www.epa.gov/enviro/wme/).  It provides quite a bit of environmental data for any zip code you enter.  It will also link to Air Now (http://www.airnow.gov/index.cfm?action=a... from the "Your Environment" tab which provides the forcast for ozone and PM 2.5 nationwide.  Just click on "What is the air quality"  and then on today's ozone forcast in the window that will open.
