Smokey eyes for small eyes??

Question

I want to do smokey eyes but my problem is that i have very small eyes and i dont want to do tooo much to it because i dont want to look trashy like i just threw it on my eyes everywhere, and i only see people who have the smokey eyes look with bigger eyes than me.. so is there a way for me to do it for small eyes like mine????

My eyes are small as well but that doesn't stop me!

You should invest in some good make-up brushes and find a small eyeshadow brush and use that to apply it. If you cant do that try a q-tip, that always works...also you might not want to use black because it could be too much for you small eyes and/or skin tone. I'm african american and i use a really dark brown to do it...looks the same, just not as harsh...

I have the same problem...my eyes are close together.  The best look I can do for myself is to line upper and lower lids with thicker black liner, then apply my shadow, then fade in black or dark grey shade in the bottom lid outside corner and try to give it a "smokey" affect.  Anything else and I look ridiculous.

Smokey eyes are difficult to pull off. Your face has to be able to take a lot of makeup in order to look good with that kind of makeup. I would do smokey eyes the way Blake Lively does hers. She has small eyes, so if you copy that, you won't look trashy.

Also, many department stores, like Nordstrom, Macy's and Bloomingdales, as well as many cosmetic stores like MAC and Sephora offer free makeovers. (I know that MAC offers this service on weekdays, and many counters at department stores do this complementary.) If you ask them, they can do it for you, and then tell you what products you need to buy. They will also teach you how to apply it. Just be prepared to pay a lot of money for the look.

i think a smokey eye can make a small eye look big,

go on youtube and type in fafinettex3, she is awesome, seriously, and try to find her smokey eye tutorial, i think she has pink smokey eye though, oh well it soooooooooooo cool
