  1. Smoking cigarettes affect your heart by clogging arteries making your heart work harder and this increases blood pressure.  All the vessels throughout your body get clogged and when it cloggs your brain, you get a stroke.  Your lungs get clogged with tar from the cigaretts and over time you get liver damage, then your liver generates more cholesteral and cloggs more arteries.
