Smoking under kitchen hood?

My parents will be away for a week. If I smoke under the kitchen hood, will they smell it when they get back?

I know, smoking is bad for me. I'm planning on quitting soon ;) .

~~They will probably be able to smell it. People who don't smoke have a great ssince of smell, and they will pick it right up. The nicotine will adhere to the filter and hood area, and stay there, so when your mom stands by the stove she'll whiff it with no problem! Better for you and your  home to just step outside!~~

smoke outside the smell will get into fabrics and your parents will notice the smell, outside is your best bet.

If you must smoke smoke outside , yes they will know that you or anyone has been smocking in the house especially if they are non smokers. There is no point telling you to quit ! you already know that you should!

if its weed go to a friends house but if not just go in the backyard if you dont want your neighbors to see.

but you dont want to risk it do you? i wouldnt do it inside that smell lingers
