Smooth Jazz Loses Another - Any Fans Need Info on WJZW Washington?

Citadel pulled the plug on its smooth jazz format on WJZW, Washington, DC after 14-years as Aretha Franklin's "Respect" launched "The New True Oldies 105.9.

I know there are a lot of Smooth jazz fans on the board. If you needfurther info I'm monitoring some radio boards and will update this post.

hey...it could come back...

same thing happened in jacksonville, fla 4  years ago, and within 6 months the station(s) were back to smooth jazz and they're still doin' that format..

and i use the plural cuz it 's one of those LMA deals...
