i LOVE smoothies. they are so good, so i was wondering if you guys had any smoothie recipes. (please no jamba juice recipes) any help would be great. thanks!

  1. This is a fun smoothie packed with everything. Adding a carrot may sound odd, but you’ll hardly taste it and the extra vitamins will do you good. Try it without the carrot if vegetables offend you.  

    Ingredients:

    1/2 raspberries

    1/2 cup strawberries

    1/2 cup blueberries

    1 cup 2% milk

    1 cup apple juice (unsweetened)

    2 cups ice

    1 small carrot

    i blend any fruits and add low fat yogurt or skim milk

    i add juice to any juice

    and lots of ice since the weather is so hot

  3. Smoothies also are not hard to make and the ingredients are easy to find. You can make your own fruit smoothie recipes just by going to the supermarket. Having a good variety of fruits, vegetables and other fresh ingredients readily available in your kitchen will inspire you to experiment with this new art of making smoothies. try out some of my easy to make and great to drink recipees

    Choco Banana

    INGREDIENTS

    1 banana

    1 tablespoon chocolate syrup

    1 cup milk

    1 cup crushed ice

    DIRECTIONS

    In a blender, combine banana, chocolate syrup, milk and crushed ice. Blend until smooth. Pour into glasses and serve.

    Orange Glory

    INGREDIENTS

    1 cup milk

    1 cup ice water

    1 (6 ounce) can frozen orange juice concentrate

    12 cubes ice

    1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

    1/8 cup white sugar

    DIRECTIONS

    In a blender combine milk, water, orange juice concentrate, ice cubes, vanilla and sugar. Blend until smooth. Pour into three 12 oz glasses and enjoy with a straw.

    Berry Merry

    INGREDIENTS

    2 cups frozen mixed berries

    1 cup strawberry flavored yogurt

    1 banana, sliced

    1 cup milk

    1/2 teaspoon white sugar (optional)

    DIRECTIONS

    In the container of a blender, combine the mixed berries, strawberry yogurt, banana, milk and sugar. Cover, and blend until smooth. Pour into glasses and serve.

    Fantasy

    INGREDIENTS

    1 mango - peeled, seeded, and cut into chunks

    1 banana, peeled and chopped

    1 cup orange juice

    1 cup vanilla nonfat yogurt

    DIRECTIONS

    Place mango, banana, orange juice, and yogurt in a blender. Blend until smooth. Serve in clear glasses, and drink with a bendy straw!

  4. i use lots of just random fruits that i like

    and some ice

    and yogurt

    and try adding some puree mix it works great!
