First off, the "2008" generation aren't all born yet - this is only May.  Unless you are incorrectly referring to the 16-35 age group of this year as the "2008 generation".

In that case, I think you will see very large, very ugly plastic sunglasses as one of the symbols.  They have been the vogue for way too long, and we are now branded with the stigma of having let them rise to power.
