Question:

Snails in my backyard but not in the national park, WHY?

I live in Tasmania which has a high amount of vegetation and it is a damp cold climate so there isn't a problem with them drying out on a long journey. It would be no problem for snails to migrate for peoples back yards into the national park, but I don't see any of them there. I wondered what would be stopping them.

  1. Probably the animals that eat them are more prevalent. and keep them in check. Snalkes, lizards, birds, and mammals who might eat the snails in the national Park are less prevalent closer to humans.
