Snails with a Betta?

Will it be alright to put snails in with my male Betta?

It depends on the size of your tank and also depends on the aggressiveness of your betta. Talking from experience, I would definitely not recommend a quarter-size or larger mystery snail in a betta tank smaller than 6 gallons due to the tremendous amount of waste they generate, which can weaken your fish's health even if you do frequent water changes. I have owned many betta fish and all of them but one attacked and severely injured the snails that I tried to put in with them.
