Snake's Got Mites?

Question

My burmese python has got mites. What can i do.

I haven't got a vets near us - the nearest one is over 300miles away - we live in the middle of nowhere.

Is there any way of getting rid of them.

You can use a 1:10 ratio or mild soap and water to bathe your snake in.  You need to use the same to clean and treat all of his cage and shelters, etc.  Even if this works well, it still would not be a bad idea to order some mite spray online so that you will have it next time.  They can make your snake become anemic and die!!! You can order some mite spray from Foster and Smith online. This will help get rid of the mites and prevent them afterwards.
