Snake Pairing?

As a Responsible Curious pet owner i like to ask questions before i do things. i would like to know if my ball python and corn snake can live in the same cage.

  1. As far as I know, snakes live best alone.


  2. Absolutely not.  The ball would probably end up killing the corn and plus they need plenty of room and different climates/habitats.

  3. I have 3 ball pythons and 2 corns. I really recommend to NEVER mix species. My female and male corn are full grown and near the same size, I keep them in a 20 gallon long tank. They're fine together but I have a female ball in the tank next over and my corns get alarmed when they see her moving. The size difference is dangerous. If the ball never bothered to notice or eat the corn, the corn would still be constantly stressed out and that would be detrimental to its health. So please keep them in separate cages.

  4. i wouldnt but as long as theyre the same size it should be fine.

    (i have a RES and Snapper living together   and no problems because theyre the same size)
