Snake bedding?

should i use aspen snake bedding or news paper for my snake and why

aspen shavings because the oils of newspaper can get on your snake also. it easier to clean.

I use Aspen for my corns.  They love to burrow in it and it is safe.  Some substrates hold in too much moisture, so you have to be careful with that.  Reptile carpet is fine and so is newspaper--it is nontoxic but doesn't look as nice.

i use eco earth and aspen, i have the cage divided so that she can pick what she likes, she spends about equal time in both. she is a ball python

Honestly, neither. I suggest ecoearth. You can buy it at your local petco or wholesale dealer. Basically, you put it in water and the blocks expand to fit whatever size cage you have your snake in. I have attached the link for it below. My boyfriend and I used aspen originally until we found out that eco-earth actually is better. It clumps the p**p better and actually decomposes the pee into itself so it causes no harm to the snake.

Aspen is good but I prefer cage carpet by zoo med. Indoor outdoor is also good.
