Snake cut into pieces and the pieces are still moving?

it's really gross... the snake has been cut into pieces and some of the pieces are still moving!

what is the reason that it still moves? how does science explain it? and how long do you think the people wait before eating it?

  1. It's the nerve endings in the snake.  Upon shock, the nerves send signals through the body, then it was cut, and the shock waves still traveled throughout the peices.  Some worm varities have more than one heart, though i do not know if it's the same with snakes.  Which, if it were, that case would state that, they have multiple hearts, and can survive in peices.  But as i said, that is just worms that I know of.
