Snake enclosure help?

um so i am almost done building my snake's new enclousure and the inside 3 out of 4 sides are wood and i was wondering what kind of paint is ok 4 a ball python 2 have in there. . . and how much it runs $

  2. well water based should be ok. it should be like 10-15 bucks a gallon. i say leave it wood. dont use spray paint as it will rub away easily. oil based paint is (or so i'm told) not good. in pennsylvania it is illegal to use oil based paint. weird huh?

  3. We use marine paint for our enclosures.  It cost $30 a gallon (give or take) and one gallon covers a 10 foot long, 3 foot wide cage.  However, if you have ball pythons the wood should be fine as they do not require a lot of moisture like boas do.
