  2. def a fox snake. good snake to have around they kill rodents and keep harmful snakes away. they can bite(harmless) if harrassed but usually stay away.

  3. Looks like i was a bull snake to me but be careful they can still bite.

    _...::*::...

  4. It is a fox snake. I'm assuming you're in the midwest or close to it. It looks very similar to a bullsnake as many people have guessed, but the markings are different.

  5. If it was a rattle snake it would coil up when you aproach it. It's probably a bull snake.

  6. definatly not a rattler.

  7. Great photo.. I could be wrong but it looks like a gopher snake or a fox snake.

  8. dude im a herpitoligigst in training thats abull snake. if im wrong sorry im in training

  9. If the snake is still there the next day I suggest that you call animal control. But if you want to find out about it you should only go near it with unexposed skin (jeans, sneakers/boots, long-sleeved shirt, and maybe gloves.) If you notice that it does have a rattle then stay far away from it. If it doesn't then it's probably harmless, but you should still be careful.
