Snake help: every time i enter my romm...?

I have a Cali knig snake. He doesnt like me picking him up but after i get him out he is ok but is there a way to make him stop trying to run away when i go to pick him up? and also his cage is in my room and every time i go in there he like freaks out and goes into hiding i try to go in there as much as possible to let him know its ok when i am there but he wont get uesde to it is there any way i can get him used to me?

Is he a baby? He might just be timid and will grow out of it over time. even my snakes that completly trust me still run away when i go to pik them up because they are young and silly, but it is strange that he freaks when you walk in the room, like i say, he is probably just youg and timid and will eventually get used to your presence and stop freaking out. Is there a snake of the opposite s*x around? Perhaps he is trying to show off, some snakes act more wild when a partner is near.

it takes time and lots of it. just keep doing what ur doing. dont let ur snake being shy intimidate u. take it out everyday or night b4 u go to sleep. soon he'll get use to u and learn that ur not there to hurt him.

just keep handling him. you could use maybe a t-shirt that you have worn a couple times and put that in his cage so he can get used to your smell. it worked great with my python. good luck
