Snake in MGS(metal gear solid) help?

Question

so who is the real snake? is the real snake the one in MGS1, 2, 3 or 4? why is there so many of him? i have play to part 3 and watch some video on 4 and i notice somthing about snake. in 3 he got his right eye(right hand) cover and in 4 he got his left. i still dont get who the real snake is. and who is nake snake, about solid snake, and big boss? anyone can tell me these question i will rate them 5star

ok i kind of understand what you are trying to ask. Solid Snake was in mgs1, mgs2(first appeared as pliskin), and in number 4 as old snake. Those were all the same person, solid snake. He was a clone of Big Boss. Liquid Snake was Solid Snakes brother, also a clone of Big Boss. Naked Snake was in number 3, he was solid and liquid snakes father, his code name was Naked Snake but now it is Big Boss. Hope that helps!
