how is that snakes could go like yrs or months without eating? as us human we would die within 3 days

well first of all since they are cold blooded

they dont need to use energy to keep their body temps up like we do they get heat from the sun

They have a slower metabolism then we do

they can lower the metabolic rates dramatically to help conserve

there have been reports of them going up to 2 years with out food

a snake can't go years without eating.  maybe a month or so, but not much longer than that.

we digest food differently than they do.

Snakes can go months without eating depending on the species.  Reptiles in general have very slow metabolisms and use the environment to keep their body temp. in the correct range so they don't need to burn food to keep themselves warm.  Often snakes that have not had a meal for some time will break down their digestive tract lining until an meal becomes available and then rebuild their digestive tract to digest the meal.
