1. It may be in the wall. But like the other poster said it could be anywhere that is worm and dark. Under the stove or frig. in a box in the closet. just keep your eyes open.

  2. Don't panic, they almost always turn up.

Check near the TV, refrigerator, some peice of machineary that gives off heat.

You can try putting a pre-killed mouse somewhere and wait a few hours and check back to see if the snake comes to eat it.

Check in small places, tight places, somewhere the snake could feel secure.

Good luck and I hope you find it.

  3. The best places to look are under the fridge and stove (the like the heat) also in the clothes hamper under piles of clothes. Don’t forget they can climb…look on table legs in room corners in closets…depending on how small the snake is look in shoes. If you have hardwood or vinyl floors you could put a row of flour down at doorways and such, if the snake crosses the flour it will trail…you will at least be able to tell which way the snake went. A friend of ours found his ball python in a bag of substrate that he had bought…there was a hole that the snake went in through. It will show up eventually. We had one ball python that used to get out and go up under a table (there was a “shelf” under the table where the snake liked to go. Another ball python got out and went into the couch cushions…another time he got out and just went exploring. Another ball python got out and went behind a large blanket chest. Another ball python got out and she was gone for about 3 weeks then one night we heard a crash and went to investigate and she was on top of the table going toward her “house”. Lets see…we had a blood python that got out and crawled up on top of the ball python cage another blood got out and went under his cage. Our kingsnake got out and we found her in a dresser drawer. The point is we have had lots of escapes and none of them were permanently lost…snakes are crazy.

  4. my snake has escaped probably 3-4 times and the first time she was coiled up in a decoration on top of my cabinets in the kitchen (how she got there who knows), another time she somehow got into the back of the stove (we had to take it apart to get her out) and the rest of the times she always goes into the couch....lol it could be anywhere...id look even in the unimaginable places...you dont want it to die of starvation or get too cold....good luck...they like tight dark spaces!

  5. put the haet lamp near the whole with its fod on the carpet it will eat the mouse and then curl up in the basking spot and sleep just chek it every hour and it will eventualy go there

  6. anywhere it is warm or where you never think it will never be. like under the stove or the heater or under your bed. or next to the tank snake will go any where that is warm so yes he will go down stairs

  7. i cant tell you where to find it, but i have a funny snake story myself. i have a fairly large snake myself and the other day it managed to push the 5 pound weight off the lid and got out. we searched all over until we decided he must have gotten out the crack between the ground and the door (we keep him on the porch and the door stinks) and so we sat around all sad for the next two days. then lo and behold, on the third day when we had finally gotten over it we saw him in the empty mouse breeding tank that we werent using, all curled up and sleeping. he had come back to the house all on his own.

  8. anyone who has ever kept snakes has probably lost one. I just hope it is non venomous. But some of the things I did was put baby powder down between the door frames and see where the snake is. It will most likely move at night when everything is quiet. You can put a live mouse in something and see if the snake will come to it. I have found mine in the closet, in the radio, in the washing machine, and on the curtains. I have always found all mine but some people don't always find them.. Good Luck to you
