Snake vision question

ok i have six snakes all in glass aqarium. i know that snakes see heat.

so how do they see me if i walk by? why dont they see the temperature of the glass?

  1. depth perception and they see movement, usually they use smell to lock onto you.


  2. youre thinking of pit vipers, they have pit sensors than can sense the body heat of an animal, which is usually hotter than the enviroment around it.

    snakes see in a wide-view, most likely they are color blind, but otherwise see as cats do. (cats can see in color)
