Snake won't eat the eggs

Question

My fiance and I finally bought a African egg-eating snake, and we bought some button quail eggs, we put some in a bird nest and some in the cage, its been a few days and it won't eat them! the eggs were not washed as we were told not to wash them. Is the snake sick or does it just take time since its in a new environment. Its a baby snake.

thats strange maybe there not used to eating eggs it may b there 1st time

Maybe the snake isn't hungry yet, give it some time, but don't let the eggs go rotten.
