I got the right side of my lip pierced Monday and the left side pierced yesterday. Today, the right fell out, and then later the left fell out. The bead will NOT stay on. I went and got some different ones, which stayed in for about 10 minutes and then fell out. I don't know what to do. Help?

  1. maybe its not tight enoguh it took a pair of plyerse to get mine off

  2. Keep trying different ones until you find tight enough ones. I don't see why that's happening.  I've had my lip pierced for almost 3 years and my lip rings have never just "fallen out".  I know that the ones from Wal Mart break but if you're shopping at Hot Topic or somewhere with lots of body jewelry then you shouldn't be having this problem.  Maybe it just wasn't meant to be.

  3. When I had my lip pierced, the back of my stud ALWAYS came off. It was the biggest pain in the ***.

I honestly don't have any advice except to check it obsessively and make sure it's tight. I went to my pierced to see what was going on, but he said it was no big deal and to keep checking to make sure it was tight. It ended up being a compulsion and habit anyway.

  4. wear horseshoe rings.. the beads dont fall off of them very easily and it will give enough space for your lip to swell. if you wear a regular hoop with a bead in the middle the pressure can sometimes pop the bead out and sometimes its hard to keep beads on the ends of studs.
