Snakes & Rope???

(my mom wanted me to ask this)

When my mom was younger she used to live in mexico. Her and her dad would camp out. (this is in the country where there are a lot of snakes) He would put a rope around their camp because he said it keeps the snakes out.

Is it true that snakes dont cross over rope???

No. Most likely they either didnt run into any snakes or (more likely) the snake passed thru camp with out even raising an alarm.

Most snakes will try to avoid people.

This is a myth. Rope does not stop snakes.
