On friday night - i had a dream that i was walking through the bush with someone (dont remember who) and i saw a brown snake. It saw me too and it started to follow me, so i started to run and I somehow ended up in a house, a house that my best friend lived in when we were younger. I woke up around then, unsure if the snake was still chasing me.

On Saturday night - I dont remember having a dream

Sunday night - My dream was still in my best friends old house, and we were in her room and I saw a green (like forest green) snake with yellow and red diamond like patterns on its back slither into the room. It started to chase us and we had to jump on stuff like beds and stuff to keep away. It then bit an old random person that I do not know, but when it bit him, it like grew and took a huge bite out of his side, like a shark would. I woke up around here. It was 2:09am - if thats significant lol

I then went back to sleep and was having the same sort of dream, in my best friends old house, hiding from this snake. We would be in different rooms and I would always see it enter the room, but I was always in the room before it. Then after some more running from room to room from the snake my mum said it's time to go to bed or something or rather, and I was like 'I cant sleep on a matress on the floor because of the snake!' and she assured me the snake was gone, still I didn't believe her and i chose to sleep on a bed. And as i got onto the bed, the snake entered the room and flew at me off the floor, onto the bed and bit my thigh/hip.

Then I woke up.

Its long I know, but any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

If it helps, im 17 years old, and I have moved out of home. Im very indepedant.

Thanks in advance.

  1. Snakes are metaphores for a nearly unseen part of our emotional life. They represent a poisonious feeling we have that we fear will undercut our effectiveness in the world, or they represent a danger to us that is in our life that we can't acknowledge very well.

You might have any number of dangers in your life, but I would need to know more to tease apart which one might actually be significant to this dream.

You will know that you are getting close to figuring out the significance of this dream because the danger is present, but the mature and loving part of yourself is telling you to not worry about the danger. However, you know that you are very vulnerable to this danger.
