Question:

Snapple Facts Untrue?

I have seen numerous questions asking if the Snapple "Real Facts" are true. I never had doubt that they were correct until now. I recently discovered that one snapple fact #662 states Philadelphia was the first capital of the United States. However, there is also another fact #399 which states that Manhattan was the first capital of the United States. Obviously there is no possible way that both of these facts can be correct, and if they are wrong whos to say there aren't countless other untrue facts on the caps of snapple bottles?

  1. well, the first one was something about goldfish having an attention span of 3 seconds, and mythbusters busted that... so i don't believe many of them.  if there's one i find interesting, I usually look it up before locking it into my vault of useless knowledge (i am known for my knowledge of random c**p)

  2. right. some snapple facts are untrue. i believe u can check out which ones on the snapple website (i think)

  3. Snapple has several untruths floating around on their lids: besides this mistake you've found and the goldfish mentioned in another answer, my favorite mistake is probably their claim that a duck's quack can't echo. This is patently false.

Several other lids are incorrect or outdated- check out my source for more!
