Sneezing at Mcdonalds?

I want to work at Mcdonalds and I just turned in my job application. but I have allergies and I am afraid I will sneeze on one of the hamburgers while serving. do you think Ill get fired on the spot if I just sneeze? anywhere?

Move away from the food to sneeze and make sure you wash your hands everytime and sneeze into your shoulder or the top of your arm!  Or....Just dont work in a place that serves food!!!

First of all sneezing quite often in a place serving food will not be a good idea as you are an allergic and you cant stop/control it,so as a  matter of curtsy and something called personal purity and and  according to the higher levels of hygiene policies of McDonald's you should take back your job-application  and avoid working  there and got fired later on.

I used to work at McDs back in the 80s, before all the cushy clamshell grills and such.  Then, and it looks that way still, there was really no "safe" direction to turn in order to sneeze, without pointing at another grill, prep table, fryer, etc.  You're surrounded on all sides with things you can't sneeze on.

I'd recommend carrying a hand towel with you, to cover your mouth with...it does a much better job than hands, or even sneezing into your elbow (more often, right over or under your elbow.)  Keep it in your waistband, and when  you need to sneeze, tear it out and cover your whole mouth and nose with it.  Turn to an open walkway and bend over, if you have time, so you sneeze below the level of grills, fryers, etc.

Management and customers may be annoyed to hear you sneezing, but when they see you walking away to wash your hands every time, they'll be impressed and thankful.

ewwww this is why I hate to eat out sometimes.  Employees sneezing or coughing on food....sweaty cooks wiping their brows over food...ugh makes my stomach churn
