The Inter Milan star has expressed confidence that the Oranje will emerge victorious in their upcoming 2014 World Cup qualifier against the Romanians at Arena Nationala.

The Oranje have bagged nine points from their three qualification matches thus far, while the Romanians have also yet to drop a point in their respective three games.

The former Real Madrid midfielder, who has plenty of experience under his belt, has underlined the importance of the upcoming game between the Oranje and the Tricolorii, while expressing confidence that the Flying Dutchmen will manage to claim a victory.
“The team that wins this game takes a big step towards the World Cup. I am confident that we will leave the pitch with three points in the bag”, Sneijder was quoted as saying to De Telegraaf.
The 28-year-old midfield maestro will not be able to take part in the Oranje’s upcoming qualifier due to injury, but the Dutch international has expressed desperation about returning to match fitness at the earliest.
“Nothing beats representing your country, and that makes my injury even harder to swallow. I'm doing my utmost to return to full match fitness, though, and to be important for Inter and Oranje once more”, Sneijder concluded.
