The Merseyside outfit will lock horns with Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday.
Their opponents at the weekend have caught the admiration of scores of people for their possession-retaining playing philosophy, which has got a tinge of Spanish flavour.
After breaking into the top division in the previous term, the Welsh club took everyone by the storm. They recorded impressive wins against some of the best teams in the league, and were credited for introducing a new and exciting brand of football in the
EPL.
However, Snodin thinks that his former club played more entertaining football than their Saturday night opponents.
He was of the opinion that the Toffees are often overlooked by the pundits and analysts while rating the teams, despite being one of the most consistent clubs in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 and only Arsenal played more stylish football than them.
“I genuinely think that the style of football Everton are producing at the moment is second only to the Gunners,” he told the reporters.
“I get totally fed up of people telling me how good Everton are at ‘grinding teams down’ and at how hard http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/David-c10409 Moyes’ teams work.”
Everton were held on to a 2-2 draw at Goodison Park by Newcastle United last Saturday. Based on the performances of the two teams, it can be said that David Moyes’ men were unfortunate not to end up with all three points, as they were clearly the better
side from the start till the end.
The 48-year old Englishman cited the multi dimensional aspects of their game that they displayed against the Magpies, and claimed that it was a treat to watch them play every time they step on to the field.
“On Monday night against Newcastle it was the visitors who were pointedly one-dimensional… Everton’s play throughout was measured, considered and a real treat to watch,” he added.
The Toffees are currently sitting at the seventh spot in the table, having bagged 7 points from their first 4 games. They will be looking to record a win on Saturday, in order to remain in sight of the top-four teams.
