Snooker 2006 CRUCIBLE????

Question

does anyone remember a dispute happening last year at the crucible? im not really sure it happened or im just imagining it but i can remember two players sizing each other up and talk of a fight after the match? in my head (not really reliable though) but i think it was two young players maybe holt? does anyone know what im talking about or can someone confirm my insanity!! thanks

mark king and quitan hann was going to be punch up

It was Andy Hicks and Quinton Hann, but this was back in 2004.

There were few words inside the arena and the Andy asked Quinton whether he would like to 'Take it outside'.

There was a charity boxing match later on in the year but Mark King took the place of Andy Hicks on this occasion. Hann was the winner of this fight.

the row you refer to was between mark king and quentin hann.

the result of which came to an end when they both entered the boxing ring for charity £10.000.mark king only volunteered to fight after the initial challenge was refused.

quentin hann won but is no longer playing after being banned for ten years by a disciplinary panel within snookers governing body known as world snnoker.

note this was for another offence(s) and nothing to do with that dispute as quentin hann wanted to fight someone else and his opponent refused to be involved.

Hi,I think you might be a bit confused here.

I have followed snooker intensly for 25 years and this type of incident has never occoured. Snooker has not dumbed down to that level yet.if you think about it,it is the world championship,theirs too much at stake to get involved in some kind of fisticuffs,If their is any disputes during a frame ask the ref,thats what hes their for..!!
