Snooker Cue Tip: 9.5mm or 10mm?

Hi All, I was hoping if you could advise which type of snooker cue tip I should use or which is better. I am about to purchase a snooker cue and most come with 9.5mm tips as standard. I can hardly find any 10mm ones. Can I put a 10mm tip on the cue later if I want? Please advise. Thanks.

  1. That is strictly a matter of personal choice. Just go with the size that works best for you. Half a millimeter doesn't sound like much but to some shooters it can be a big deal , especially when we're talking snooker. If it feels good to you then that's all that really matters. Good luck.
