  1. foul - 4

  2. You are going to make a foul shot

  3. So foul

  4. foul 4

  5. will be a foul shot- 4 points to apponent

  6. f 4

  7. If there is no way out without hitting a red first then it is automatically a foul and will mean your oponent gains 4 points.

  8. Foul 4 and a miss!

If you keep doing it you will forefit the frame.

  9. The referee will call a miss if he believes you should be able to make the hit and you deliberately miss. It doesn't sound like the situation you describe will be called a miss.

  10. If it is impossible to get out of it will be a foul, 7 points away (because you will be deemed to nominate the black), but it won't be called a miss.

  11. If this was to happen very early in the game then the referee would ask the opposing player if he would agree to a stale mate and the ball`s would be re - racked .

If the opposing player said no then the player "in play " would be allowed to take his shot , the referee would give the 4 point`s for the foul but would not call for a miss as he know`s that the shot was impossible to get out of ! the "miss" rule is totally at the ref`s discretion !

You can email the snooker presenter`s at bbc.co.uk/snooker and ask them the question, if it get`s accepted then they will demonstrate it on the tv !the more people email the question the better chance it will get through to them so i will email them now !

  12. Cant avoid to foul so would be 4 away. But no miss called as unavoidabe
