Snooker&pool + billiards?

Yahoo Xtra is there a diffrence I see they call it billiards is that it?? Why not just Cue Sports

You make a good point Johnny.  I sometimes use the term "cue sports" but it still doesn't just roll off the tongue.  It sounds a little awkward and you always have to explain what the heck you're talking about.  Personally, I wish they would just change the category to "billiards".  Billiards encompasses all cue sports like pocket billiards (pool), snooker, and carom games.  It would definitely cut down on the number of swimming pool questions.  If only we could get rid of those pesky computer game questions.  Cheers.  M.D.-BCA Instructor/Referee.
