Snooker pool stick??

my dad and i have started playing snooker and we both really enjoy playing. i wanted to get him his own snooker pool stick for christmas but i dont know what kind to get him. are there any particular brands that are better then others? help me find the right snooker pool stick for an amateur that is just getting started playing!
