  1. after 4 frames they usually take 15 minutes.

  2. there is a 15mins interval after the 1st 4 frames.

  3. After 4 frames they have a mid session interval, for tea. They come back and play another 4 frames in the world championship, and then repeat it the next day,the last session is an odd number of frames to get a winner. In non world tornaments,it's 4 frames, tea, than 5 frames and winner.Up to the early 1970s the final was played over 7 days best of 75 frames...phew

  4. First i would call snooker a game not a sport. They do have breaks. During the earlier rounds of the world championships the matches are split into two sessions and they have a 15 minute break during each session.

  5. yes they have a fifteen minute break after the first four frames of each session, the break is called midsession interval.

  6. never

  7. It sort of does yes.

in the longer matches a session of snooker is usually 8 frames long and is devided into 2 sets of four frames by a 'mid-session interval' which is about a 15 mins break for the players to have a cup of tea etc.

If  eight frames have been played in the morning/afternoon then the players will resume playing in the  evening.
