  1. Hey Landon, SkiMan here.  Looking for a binding aye.  Purchasing a ski binding should be driven by ability and usage, not by price.  After all its your legs and your life at stake.  Aggressive skiers need aggressive bindings or your skis will not hang in there. Jumps and off coarse activities are just a start as your season progresses.  I have skied for many years and have built a confidence level with Solomon.  I say go with Solomon they have been good to me. Price being your factor $129 try a 912 here is a link. www.skis.com/product/49384/Salomon+S912+... Good Luck, SkiMan out.

  2. Maybe some Look PX 12 JIB park/freeride bindings, or any of the solomon freestyle bindings, such as their Z10 ti freestyle bindings which fall under your price range.  The Look's come at around $140-$160, and the Solomon bindings come at more like $110-$120, but both are great bindings.

  3. I like salomon bindings the best...if you get an older model from any brand, though, you'll save yourself a lot of money.  If you go for an 06 or 07, you could probably get a pro level binding for the price of a lousy one from this season.  Check eBay out, just make sure they're not used.

  4. this may sound patronizing but stop thinking cheap...instead think smart investment. If you lay out some cash upfront for Jaspers or Dukes you get to ski on the best equipment money can buy and you have a fine piece of equipment that will last through a number of remounts. 400 bucks sounds ridiculous until you figure those dukes will outlive 3 pair of skis thereby the cost really works out to only $133/ski whereas a cheap pair of bindings rarely hold up long enough to get remounted. Plus the investment in safety  is priceless
