Snow board rail?

alright so me and my friends set up a mini park every year when it snows. we basically just use logs and wood planks to jib on. if i were to attach some fiber class (like at rea terrain parks) to the top of these planks of wood, do you think it would be a little better?

the stuff they use at terrain parks isnt fiber glass its polyethylene. and its expensive and hard to find. If i want u could just cover the log with snow??
