  1. High latitudes and high altitudes That's why Its Snow earlier in Colorado and south Dakota because of that.


  2. High latitudes = further north or south from the equator

    High altitudes = check out the mountain tops (the Rockies in the summer?)

  3. That's a tough one.  It could be either high latitudes and/or high altitudes.  Hawaii is not low latitude, but the higher altitude volcanoes can have snow caps.  Higher latitudes can have snow cover at the lower altitude as well as the high altitudes.

  4. Except the last one (ie.,low latitudes and low altitudes)all the remaining three are the favourable conditions for the formation of snow cover.
