Snowboard...5'5.5" and 130lbs...Is 152cm too long?

My girlfriend is 5'5.5" and 130lbs. She's a beginner snowboarder, and just bought a 152cm snowboard. Is it too long? If so, what height should her board be? She has a Palmer Touch. Thanks!

well thats a little big for a resort board, but if your doing back country / big mountain stuff its perfect.

A 152 should be fine.  A 148 would be too small.  

The frosty calculator sucks.  It doesn't give you the right size half the time.

If she is a decent snowboarder, she will be able to handle it, however a more ideal size would be around a 148. I think if she rides it enough she will have no problems. I got a new board that was a 148 when i was only about 5' 3-4'' so she should be fine.

if you could i would get a 148. i'm 5'6, 125 and ride a 148. its got great control and with some wax some deadly speed.
