Question:

Snowboard / Ski goggles fogging in between the double lenses?

My snowboard / ski goggles have double lenses, which I guess is designed to reduce fogging. However, I always get fog in between the double lenses, which is worse than fogging on the inside or outside, because I cant wipe the fog off. I put the goggles under a hand dryer (blower) in the restroom, and it got the fog away, but when I stepped outside, it started fogging up in between the lenses again. I have Dragon DX goggles and Quiksilver Q-1 goggles, and I have this problem with both. How can I prevent this from happening?

  1. The goggles are defective.  They have lost the seal between the lenses.  Contact the manufacturer and get replacement lenses.  They will be covered under the manufacturers warranty.
