I just bought a 151 burton blunt. i haven't seen it in person bc i bought it online but i fit in the mid range weight size that is recommended by burton. i'm about 5'10 and wear a shoe size 10. i want a pear of burton boots or maybe even thirtytwo but i'm afraid that my boot size would be too big for the board and would cause me to have the wretched toe hang. please answer my question :]

  1. no problem

  2. It just so happens I used to ride a Burton Blunt and have a size 10 boot. Toe drag will not be a problem.  No matter the board. Size tens will almost never cause drag, so ride away. Personally, I would go with 32 boots because 32 specializes in boots, while Burton just does boots on the side, rather than concentrating on boots alone.

  3. first. get the 32

a size 10 wont hang on a 151. dont worry. i ride a 151 with a 11 boot. no problem. if for some weird reason you do have issues, get some binding risers. they will eliminate all drag.

  4. hey,

i have a size 13 boot and my toes look like they hang over like crazy and i even ride a wide GNU but with the right bindings (Burton) there wont be a problem unless you plan on riding face first laying down

  5. Different boots and different binding angles will give you a different amount of overhang that other riders - even if they have the same board. A "10" boot usually doesn't require a wide board, but it depends on the boot.

If you are setting your bindings "duck" +15 / -15 you are not going to be having a problem as this will put the boots across the board and less overhang. If you are setting +9 / +3 (which I doubt on a freestyle board) you may have a problem.

The waist width on a Burton Blunt 151 is 247mm - about 1//4 to 1/2 inch larger boot is usually acceptable. Check how big the external measurements of the boots are before you buy. Of course, a lifter under the binding will also correct the problem.

    Good Luck

  6. Well your first problem is that you bought a Burton.  Hope you didn't purchase Burton bindings to.

-Find your mounting point and rotate your base plates 90 degress.   Move the base plates towards your back edge.  This will buy you a little more room.

-Or Purchase a high toe cut boot such as some Van boots.  The toe actually comes up at the tip a little.  Look for sharp angles and not a gradual rise.  The sharp angle is more stiff.

-Or simply rotate your stance a little.

  7. Alright seriously listen to me pleaseeeee!!!!!

If your worried about toe drag worry no more.

I ride a technine149 and wear an 11 boot and have zero toe drag.

Crazy right but this is how...

Burton and DC make boots that have a size smaller footprint than the boot size for people with big feet

The burton boot is the boxer which was the first cut down boot i rode

These boots were amazing my favorite byyyy farrrr

Then I got DC's the SUPER PARK REMIX

these were cutdown as well but they sucked they were twice as heavy as the burton boots

Basically what im getting at is if you wear a size 10 if you buy the burton boxers they will fit like a 10 but they will have the heel to toe size of a 9

    ya digg check em out
