  1. u can mix and match.

its so much fun to do that.

u can hav burton bindings. and a completly different board brand

  2. no you can totally mix and match.

forum makes great boards and they're boots are pretty comfy too. they also make decent bindings. if you do want to pick up something else theres no problem in doing so.

i have a burton board, burton bindings and forum boots

i also have a santa cruz board with burton bindings and 32 boots.

so pick what will best cater to your riding style and grab it.

    EDIT

i noticed the guy below stated that only burton bindings will fit on a burton board. that is not true. you can get different plates. the only burton bindings that go specifically to burton board are the ICS bindings, they only go on ICS boards.

but you can get different bindings with a burton board and vice versa.

  3. do your own thing! thats whats great about it. i have a rossignol board, burton bindings, and morrow boots. i get burton bindings because i replace them alot less often and i can put them on any board.

actually the above isnt completely tru since only burton bindings will fit on burton boards (but burton bindings will fit will fit on any board). but as far as i know burton is the only company like this.

to tell you the truth, i cant even think of someone i know who has a straight set of all one brand but i know people do do that.
