I want to do a search to find just those types of snowboard boots, but don't know the term for the feature.

Is it only one brand or do most brands have a version of these types of boots?

  1. BOA.  Vans, DC and 32 are a couple makers of these boots.  32 are very nice.  Vans are good too.

  2. BOA

DC, Vans, and Thirty-Two are the ones off the top of my head that I know have them.  I think DC has embraced the technology the most, and I've heard a lot of positive reviews about their boots, but they tend to have a larger footprint than most boots.  Burton has speed zone which is just two handles you pull to tighten.  The only thing with these versions are that they are either tight or loose.  They don't allow for as much tweaking as conventional laces.  So most park rats stick with regular laces over BOA and speed zone.

  3. BOA

There are a ton of companies that sell these boots. The previously mentioned vans, DC, and 32, but there are also K2, Atomic, and Snowjam also carry some nice boots with the boa system
