Snowboard maintanance?

is there any maintanance for a board like waxing, i ve had this board for my second season i havent done anywork to it, just put a new set of bindings on

  1. Yeah you should definately wax it every three or four times you ride. If you have any gouges in your board, melt some p-tex in there and smooth it out. Uhm, you can sharpen your edges every once in a while and detune(dull out) the metal on the nose and tail. Rub on wax is good too for a last minute slick ride.


  2. Yeah I would reccomend getting your board waxed and getting the edges sharpened before you hit the slopes this year. Sometimes ski/boarding shops offer a "tune up" package and I would spring for that if you have the cash.

  3. Not really much you can do to keep your board clean, other than to just clean it like you are doing.  I would say just spray it down with hot water when you finish with it after a couple runs.  Good Luck!

  4. Yep, you should either buy a kit or it might be easier for you to take it to a store near you and get it waxed and sharpened! Without it being waxed and sharpened its harder to turn and do a lot of other things! Usually it isn't that much money! I highly recomend it! Good luck! Have fun out there! :)
