  1. You can get recycled HDPE plastic "boards" which are used to build decks at home stores - similar to the Trex brand of decking materials. It comes in long lengths and isn't very expensive. It will also save a lot of wear on your board compared to metal rails.

    Good Luck

  2. HDPE..high density poly eurathan is what is used to layer actual rails..if you are making a round rail like a hand rail type then HDPE is not really needed...but if you are making boxes the top sheet is HDPE its clear..you can definetly find some for cheap online..

  3. Dude dont get any plastic c**p, A RAIL is metal dude. Your gonna be praticing on this plastic crappy thing and get all used to it, ( plastic slids wicked slow) then your gonna roll up to the mountain and hop on and rail there and dump it right on your face, b/c metal slids so so so much faster than crappy hdpe. You can definetly find something metal to slide somewhere.  It doest have to be a rail.   But dont waste your time with plastic dude.

& thanks dude this question was my 2000th point. Happy shredding and good luck brotha
