Snowboard size, which size should i get?

Im 6 ft 6, around 250 lbs and have a size 14 shoe, typically i wear size 13 for snowboarding just to lower the amount of toe drag (i wish i could wear 14, soooo much more comfortable) but anyway, what would be the ideal width of a board for me, and please done say "wide", i know that, but how many cm. around? please help

ok your a big man so i suggest a big board not so much wide but long. im talking something in the 160 range or even bigger im thinking a 164 would do good. good luck dude

I know how you feel, 6'3" size 14.

The board should be about shoulder to chin height. (shorter is  used for beginners)  

K2 is known to build great wide boards.

I enjoy a short board and a short stance, really it just becomes preference.

If you wear the 13 enough they might wear in to fit, did for me. :)

You are going to need a board on the really large side of things. I am 6'3 and 210 and I use a 160cm and size 13 boots/bindings.

You are going to need XL bindings. They usually fit size 9-14

I would guess a 166-170 cm board

And whatever boot fits you like a size 13 or size 14.

It should be one h**l of a work out that is for sure but good luck :)

Since I'm not sure what type of riding you do, I am going to recommend an all around board with a very wide width.  It's the Nitro Magnum 161.  The waist width is a 27.4cm  It's also available in a 159 with a waist of 27.3.  My first board was the older version of the 159.  I never got toe drag but I only wear a size 13 boot.   I just switched to the Santa Cruz Largo 156, have only had it out twice so far and like the shorter length for better maneuverability.

You also have another option.  Both Palmer and Burton make risers.  They cost about $50 a pair and let you use narrower boards.
