  1. stand up straight and measure from the floor to the middle of your kneecap. Also measure your shoulder width from end to end. This has been a good place to start for me

  2. A wide stance gives you more balance and forces you to keep your knees more bent which will give you more twist and pop when you're doing a trick.

  3. as wide as its feels comfortable

  4. Wider stance for park is way betta.  Its feels really weird @ 1st. I was rockin a really close stance and all my boyz were busting on me all the time and trying to encourage me to max it out. So finally i did and i love it. I can nose and tail press ,much betta and cork my spins way way betta, also like this other dude sez it forces you to keep your knees bend and also make boardslides way eaiser

  5. Some people just like it that way because they are most comfortable at that position. Just do whatever is most comfortable for you. Also it sometimes is easier to do tricks that way. Good luck!  XD

  6. so they can do tricks (twist), its easier

  7. Just stand with your legs spread and whatever is comfy go with that

  8. It's just personal preference. I like my feet closer together when doing tricks because I feel more balanced.
