Snowboarding: ISA vs. ISF?

Question

I'm trying to do some research for an article, and I'm getting a lot of conflicting information between the International Snowboarding Association vs. the International Snowboarding Federation. When was each started? Did the ISA become the ISF, or are they separate? Do they both still exisit, or did one (both?) close? Thanks to anyone who can help: I'm not familiar with snowboarding so I don't know which sources are right and which are wrong.

Started with isf,and them joined forces with the isa and now all there is , is isa    im not sure of dates, get the ole google workin dude
