Snowboarding Pants?

So I am just getting into snowboarding, and need help with the pants aspect of it all. I wear a 30" x 34" when it comes to every day pants, but what does that translate to in most snowboarding pants sizes?

Medium to Large

check manufacturers websites, they usually have a sizing chart posted.

Probably a medium, but it will depend on the brand you choose. I hate to push the Burton hype, but I got some Burton pants a couple of years ago and I LOVE them - very thick fabric and very water proof with vents and adjustable waist -very nice.
